Payments can be spread over  up to 10 months, interest free with no credit checks.

We’re pleased to welcome patients on Saturdays for frame selection, collections and adjustments. Many patients find Saturday visits particularly enjoyable as the practice can be quieter.

We believe that choosing spectacles should be an enjoyable experience. We have several hundred frames to choose from in all manner of shapes, sizes, and colours.

If you want something more individual, our Lindberg and Tom Davies collections offer bespoke options which can be tailored specifically to your measurements and style preferences.

I don’t know what would suit me – will you help me choose?

Absolutely!

Our reputation depend upon selecting the right frames and lens combination – We’re not going to leave that to chance!

We discuss our patients hopes and expectations.  We investigate problems they have encountered historically and  discuss their visual needs. This allows us to make recommendations on lens and frame design.

And we are honest too! We are not the sort of place that tells you that every frame makes you look fantastic.

I just don’t suit glasses!

It can be a shock when you see yourself in glasses for the first time or try a style different to what you are used to.

But bear with it! Give yourself a moment!

Often it’s just a matter of finding the shape and colours to suit.

And don’t go worrying about big noses, wonky ears, etc. We are all individuals!

We stock frames for real people. So we buy frames for large heads, small heads, big and little noses, pale skins, dark skins….. you get the picture.

What happens if I don’t like my new glasses?

We are dedicated to giving you the best service you’ve ever had.

If at any time you don’t feel it was, just tell us why and we’ll fix it!

If within 60 days of collecting your new glasses, you are unhappy, we will arrange an alternative that makes you more comfortable.

How do I care for my eyewear?

Caring for Your Glasses

It is worth taking a moment to learn the proper care techniques. Most spectacle lenses are made from lightweight plastic materials, which are safe and comfortable to wear but are more susceptible to scratching than you might expect.

Knowing how to clean them safely makes such a difference. It’s easy to cause tiny scratches without realising if you use the wrong cleaning method. They might not seem significant at first, but over time they can affect the clarity of your vision.

With the right technique and materials, keeping your lenses pristine is perfectly straightforward.

Our guide walks you through the do’s and don’ts, so you can be confident you’re caring for your investment properly.

Do I need thinner lenses?

We may recommend having thinner lenses because of your prescription or the style of the frame.

We always explain why we are making our recommendations and try to give as many options as possible.

I don’t want separate sunglasses.

Sunglasses are fantastic for keeping your eyes safe. We suggest polarised lenses which offer the best in glare reduction.

If you don’t want separate sunglasses, we suggest photochromic lenses which darken on UV exposure. We recommend Transitions, which are currently the quickest photochromic lenses to change colour.

What if I don’t like Transitions?

Our Transitions lenses come with a Love ’em or Leave ’em warranty.

Try them for a couple of weeks and if you don’t like them, we will remake them as clear lenses at no additional cost.
