Dry Eye and Allergy Eye Clinic

Are you bothered by dry, irritated, or watery eyes?

Do your eyes often feel dry, itchy, irritated, or indeed watery?

Do certain activities, like reading, working on the computer or certain environments, make your eyes feel scratchy, gritty, or tired, itchy or do your eyes burn?

If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you may have a dry eye or allergy eye syndrome. They are common problems, but you don’t have to put up with them.

What is dry eye?

You may not be producing enough tears, the tears you produce are of poor quality or evaporating away faster than they should. Any reduction in the quality or quantity of tears can produce a gritty, burning sensation or the experience of watery eyes or eye tiredness. Allergy eye symptoms may also exist either with dry eye or on its own, even with oral allergy medications ‘breakthrough’ symptoms can occur when your eyes may need extra relief – we can help with this.
